Join us for a day of discovery, learning and community.
Regeneration may begin on earth, but it does not end there.
When we restore an ecosystem, we are also restoring memories, relationships, knowledge, and ways of living in community.
For two weeks, young people from different countries worked side by side with local people and organizations to care for our land. They planted, built, listened, and shared experiences. But above all, they discovered that regeneration is a collective process.
This Open House invites the community to celebrate this history of sharing and caring.
We intended to address the various dimensions of regeneration: the ecological dimension, through the work carried out at Campo do Vale and in areas affected by fires; the cultural dimension, by promoting traditional knowledge; the community dimension, through initiatives that strengthen the local area; and the social dimension, by creating opportunities for gathering, play, and celebration.
On this day, we celebrate everything that can revitalize a place.

Games and Play
A morning dedicated to movement, fun and connection through simple games and group play. Between cooperative challenges, creative dynamics and spontaneous moments of laughter, we'll explore nature, awaken the imagination and strengthen community spirit.
The Clay Cycle
A practical and sensory experience to immerse ourselves in the clay cycle - from the earth to the hands, and from the hands to creation. In this activity, we'll explore clay as a living material, connecting with its rhythms, textures and transformations through touch, imagination and creativity.

Guided Tour of Quinta Vale da Lama
On this guided tour, we'll share our permaculture practices, regeneration and care for the soil, plants, animals - and each other. An opportunity to slow down, ask questions and understand how everything is connected - from the compost heap to the food on your plate.

Pizza Dinner
Let's fire up our traditional wood-fired oven and bake pizzas throughout the evening, to share around the table and enjoy as they come out of the oven.
PRICE: €18 per adult | €10 per child (up to age 12) | Free for children up to age 5

HOW IT WORKS
During dinner, you can go get pizzas as people start leaving. It's not an all-you-can-eat buffet—the pizzas will be prepared and served throughout the evening, while supplies last.
We ask that you be present during the scheduled time, since the pizzas will be made and served continuously. We can't guarantee that there will be pizza for those who arrive at the very end.
💛 This dinner is also a fundraiser, and the proceeds go to our project. More than just a meal, it’s an opportunity to eat, share, and contribute.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT: To secure your spot, a prepayment of €18 per adult and per child over 12 years old is required, and €10 per child aged 6 to 12. Children 5 years old or younger are free. After registering, if you’re interested in having dinner, you’ll receive an email with payment instructions.
Reservations must be made by September 24. We want to make sure we have enough pizza for everyone.

Novas Descobertas Association - Campo do Vale, Vale da Lama
We're between the Alvor estuary and the sea, near Odiáxere (Lagos). A learning space in constant evolution, with outdoor rooms, shaded corners and wide open spaces where everyone is welcome.
