Each participant can only register for one shift. If you book more than one shift, you will be placed on a waiting list for the second option. The participant's registration is only valid once they have received a confirmation email from Novas Descobertas Association and have paid the deposit within 5 days of receiving the email.

2. PARTICIPANT'S MEDICAL INFORMATION

Please indicate if the participant has any allergies/intolerances, follows a specific diet, takes medication or has any other relevant health condition. In the event of any of these situations, the respective prescription or medical statement must be presented. It is the responsibility of the parents or legal guardian to ensure that all the information provided is true and complete and that the vaccination record is up to date.
NOTE: It is recommended that the participant be assessed by their doctor before attending any Novas Descobertas Summer Camp. By signing this form, the guardian declares that the participant is in good physical and psychological health to take part in the residential summer camp.
All participants in the New Discoveries Summer Camps are covered by personal accident insurance for the 24 hours of the days in which they take part in the camp, under the terms of article 17 of Decree-Law no. 304/2003, of December 9, and Ordinance no. 629/2004, of June 12.

6. SOCIAL GRANTS - APPLICATIONS OPEN APRIL 1ST, 2026

You can apply for a free or reduced rate place if you are from a socially disadvantaged background and cannot afford the full cost of the residential summer camp.

These include, for example, situations of unemployment, single-parent families with minimal income, low incomes or other conditions that place the household in a situation of social and economic vulnerability.

In 2026, you can apply for a social grant between April 1st and June 1st**after submitting this form, by sending an email to info@projectonovasdescobertas.org. 

** Grant applications will be answered after this date. By applying for a grant you are not guaranteeing the participant's place at the camp. **

Consent for the collection and use of images
Associação Novas Descobertas may take and use photographs and images of our facilities, events and programs for promotional purposes, such as on our website, in email messages or on social networks, or may be shared with the media or press for the dissemination of news based on these events and programs. These images will be saved and stored by us in accordance with the GDPR guidelines. By agreeing to this action, you release us from any future legal claims. Authorization for the participant to sleep in a tent during the Residential Summer Camp organized by Novas Descobertas Association.
The Novas Descobertas Residential Summer Camp includes sleeping in tents (camping) and requires the written consent of the guardian.
Participants of the same gender can sleep together in the same tent, as long as all the parents involved have authorized, at the time of registration, that their child sleeps with participants of the same gender.
According to the Holiday Camps Act (Decree-Law no. 304/2003, of December 9), it is compulsory to separate the sexes into separate sleeping areas (different tents or suitable physical partitions). There are exceptions provided for in Internal Regulations for Novas Descobertas Summer Camps, In the case of minor siblings or cousins, prior written authorization must be obtained from both legal guardians of each participant.
The participant meets the necessary conditions to take part in the Summer Camp organized by the Novas Descobertas Association, including the practice of sporting activities. I, as guardian, declare that I have read and understood the rules set out in the Internal Regulations of the Novas Descobertas Summer Camps.
The participant's guardian must sign the Term of Responsibility that will be sent via email in order for the participant's registration to be valid.
